The most interesting problems rarely exist within a single discipline.

Building companies requires understanding technology, but it also requires understanding people, markets, capital, culture, and the systems that allow ideas to become reality.

I have always been attracted to people and organizations working toward ambitious missions that extend beyond themselves. Whether exploring space, expanding access to investment opportunities, or inspiring future entrepreneurs, these causes matter because they shape the future we are building.

That is why I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to organizations across space, investing, and entrepreneurship.

Space and Exploration

I currently serve on the Executive Board of Directors for Space Center Houston.

Space Center Houston's mission is to bring people closer to space through education, inspiration, and connection to NASA's human spaceflight programs. Space exploration represents one of humanity's greatest examples of pushing beyond current limits. It forces us to think on timescales longer than our own, solve problems that have never been solved before, and expand what feels possible.

Through my work with Space Center Houston, I have had the opportunity to contribute to executive management, long-term strategy, operational improvements, facility planning, and capital fundraising initiatives that support the organization's continued growth.

The lessons from space extend far beyond rockets. They are lessons about ambition, engineering, teamwork, and pursuing goals that initially seem impossible.

Capital and Investing

I also serve as a Board Member of Boulder Investment Group, an organization focused on expanding access to alternative investments.

Investing is often shaped by access, information, and relationships. BIG brings together a community of investors who collaborate, share knowledge, and collectively gain access to opportunities that are typically available only to larger institutions.

The organization reflects a broader belief that access to knowledge, networks, and opportunities should not be limited to a small group of institutions or individuals.

Entrepreneurship and the Next Generation

I also serve on the Board of the Conrad Challenge, an organization focused on helping young people develop skills in science, technology, and entrepreneurship.

One of the most important investments we can make is helping the next generation become builders.

Innovation does not happen automatically. It comes from individuals who are encouraged to ask better questions, challenge assumptions, and pursue ideas that create meaningful change.

These organizations operate in different worlds, but they share a common purpose: creating something meaningful and building toward the future.
